The route passes through the most beautiful places of the Almaty region of Kazakhstan: the celestial mountain ranges of the Tien Shan and its emerald lakes, where between the mountain ranges on the sandy and steppe valley, slowly moving the largest river in the Semirechye — Ili. Its tributaries as life-giving vessels penetrate the desert plain, wriggling along the canyon, with lunar and Martian landscapes, and the mountain plain — Jailau. It is here that you will feel as if you have visited different parts of the world at the same time, as this route is unique for its extremely diverse landscapes.

Almaty Region Adventure Tour is also a historical and informative tour, as the beginning of the tour takes place along one of the ancient trade arteries, the Great Silk Road. We will visit the places where the Saky tribes of the first millennium BC lived and where the great conqueror of the world Genghis Khan with his mighty army took place in the XIII century. On the way we will meet abandoned places of ancient settlements, many mounds, ancient rock petroglyphs and places where archeological excavations were carried out.

We will go to the deepest part of the Altai Mountains from the Kazakh side.

Landscapes will change from wild mountain ranges to Martian desert landscapes. From the cool mountain lakes to the huge warm lake of Zaisan. Natural parks, nature reserves, views of the majestic Belukha, authentic villages and the real spirit of Altai await us in this cycling adventure!

We will visit lakes Yazevoye, Bukhtarminskoye, Markakol, Zaisan, Upper and Lower Tainty, Sibinskoye lakes, Martian landscapes Kin-Kirisha, Cape Shekelmes, drive along the Old Austrian road, visit 10 meters from the Chinese border, take a ferry through Zaisan.

We are not standing still, to expand the borders we present you a new route. We will travel, walk, spend evenings in the most magical and unusual places of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan. Our journey begins with a unique natural reserve, the Chon-Kemin River. The Chon-Kemin Gorge and Valley is one of the most picturesque areas in Kyrgyzstan, which is a unique natural complex that includes a gorge, valley and the Chon-Kemin River flowing through the valley.

Next we will find the majestic Zailiyskiy Alatau mountain range. Zailiyskiy Alatau is a mountain range located in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, part of the Tien Shan mountain system. The length of the ridge is about 360 kilometers. Talgar Peak, the highest point of the Trans-Ili Alatau, is visible from the southern capital of Kazakhstan, Almaty. Its height is 5017 meters, and the mountain range as a whole is dominated by heights of 4000-4600 meters. At the conquest of the pass we will see an incredible confluence of seasons in a single moment, where the tops of the mountains sparkle with snow caps, and at their foot there are greenery and flowers.
